HISTORY
For many years, the leaders of Community Christian Fellowship prayed continually for a Christian school that would service the Greater Lowell area.
In 1991, CCA was founded with an initial enrollment of 30 students located at 100 Industrial Ave. Year after year, enrollment steadily grew.
In 1999, a partnership began with Calvary Chapel of Chelmsford, which resulted in grades 9-12 moving to the Calvary Chapel campus in order to allow growth for all departments.
In 2003, Community Christian Fellowship and Academy moved to its current facility at 105 Princeton Blvd. in Lowell, MA where there is a full gymnasium, kitchen, 600-seat sanctuary, fellowship hall, two playgrounds, and more.
In May 2008, the school board decided to move grades 9-12 to the main campus. This allowed for easier access to the gymnasium and auditorium facilities.
The 2010-2011 school year marked the school's 20th anniversary. This year brought with it a brand new science lab, library, art classroom, multi-media elective class, and more.
In June 2012, a decision was made to discontinue the high school program and concentrate on strengthening the preschool, elementary, and junior high grades.
The 2014-2015 school year opened with 132 students, and in the last 2 years, CCA has renovated its playgrounds, computer lab, and upgraded many areas of curriculum in order to continue offering quality education.
*CCA is committed to a policy of non-discrimination on the basis of race, color, gender, or nation of origin in the administration of its educational and admissions policies, athletic programs, or any other school-administered program.
